Minimally invasive Endocrine Surgery and Laparoscopic Surgery:
- Surgery on thyroid gland
- Surgery on parathyroid glands
- Surgery on adrenal glands, laparoscopic adrenalectomies
- Ambulatory (out-patient) thyroid and parathyroid surgeries
Minimally Invasive Endocrine Surgery
Minimally invasive endocrine surgery involved procedures which are being done with either small incision or endoscopically (laparoscopicaly) therefore patient have good cosmetic results and most of the procedures done either on outpatient basis or with a short hospital stay.
Surgery on Thyroid Gland
-- Ambulatory surgery under local / regional anesthesia
- Surgery for benign and malignant diseases, including radical and modified radical neck dissections
- Minimally invasive thyroid surgery – smaller incision, minimal dissection, same-day suture removal, good cosmetic results.
- Endoscopic thyroid surgery.
- Intraoperative nerve monitoring.
- Intraoperative flexible laryngoscopy for vocal cord evaluation before and after complicated cases
- Decrease time and complication of the surgery by using Ligasure
- Neck ultrasound with FNA
Surgery on Parathyroid Glands
- Ambulatory surgery under local / regional anesthesia
- Intraoperative PTH monitoring
- Minimally invasive parathyroid surgery
- Video-assisted parathyroidectomy
- Standard bilateral neck exploration for hyperplasia / multi-gland disease, trans-cervical partial thymomectomy for ectopic intra-thymic parathyroid.
Surgery on Adrenal Glands
- Laparoscopic adrenalectomy for treatment of Cushing’s disease, pheochromocytoma, aldosteronoma
- Open and radical adrenalectomies for invasive adrenal carcinomas.
Pancreatic Surgery
- Laparoscopic distal pancreatectomy: spleen preserving or with splenectomy
- Open pancreatectomies: middle, distal, distal with spleen preservation, total pancreatectomy, Whipple procedures.
