Multidisciplinary Endocrine Oncology Clinic is designated for patients with complex endocrine problems. Multidisciplinary team consist of Endocrine Surgeon, Endocrinologist, Radiologist/ Nuclear medicine Physician, Oncologist, Genetic Councilor. Patient is presented to the clinic and has consult appointment with each specialist with the same day. At the same day all necessary imaging studies (ultrasound, CT scan and so on) are performed and result is available to discuss with the patient at the end of the appointment.
Oncology Nurse Navigator Program
Patient Navigation Service is here to help cancer patients and their families on their journey through treatment every step of the way. Our Registered Nurse Navigator assures individualized assistance, support, and services for those diagnosed with cancer. Working with affiliated physicians, social workers, genetic counselors, clinical research associates, and dietitians, Nurse Navigator helps coordinate all aspects of cancer patient care. Through the free Patient Navigation Service, patients and families have access to an invaluable resource in their Nurse Navigator, who can help answer questions about tests and diagnostics, coordinate treatment and follow-up care, assist with making appointments, and provide information on everything from support groups to medical insurance. Specializing in thyroid, parathyroid and adrenal cancers including endocrine syndromes, the Registered Nurse Navigator blends clinical experience, passion for patient advocacy, and personal experiences to help guide every cancer patient facing a diagnosis on their individual cancer journey.
